Decoupage bottles for a wedding or birthday

I must say that among the orders, bottles with expensive wine or champagne are in good demand. Such decoupage is ordered for a birthday, wedding or some other important celebration.
Decoupage of a bottle of champagne is relevant for a wedding. Such an original and bright gift can surprise not only the newlyweds, but also the guests.
This is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. It is enough just to give free rein to your imagination, and everything will definitely work out.
First you need to prepare a bottle of champagne - wash all paper labels, leave the foil. To do this, put the bottle in a container of water and leave it for a while. After that, remove the remaining paper and wipe it with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol solution. This will degrease the container.
To decorate the bottle, you need to choose a beautiful, delicate pattern. It can be gift paper or some kind of napkin with roses.
Before decoupage, you need to prime a bottle of champagne well
Acrylic paint is most often used as a primer. Take a foam sponge and gently apply paint to the champagne bottle.
After that, mix the gray acrylic paint and the same paint, but only the paint that changes its color. Apply the mixture gently to the bottle. This will be the background for the napkin.
Now let the paint dry, and in the meantime, prepare the napkin itself. You can break it into pieces of different sizes.
To make it convenient to glue the drawing, you can take a glue stick for this. Carefully apply the glue to the drawing and wait until it begins to dry a little. Do this until the drawing is glued to the entire surface of the champagne bottle.
Then we give an hour for everything to dry well.
Now we proceed to the next stage - varnishing the napkin
To do this, you need a brush and acrylic varnish. It is necessary to apply several layers of varnish to the drawing, while remembering to dry each layer separately. To enhance the beauty of the bottom of the bottle, paint it with red acrylic, and on top with chameleon paint. You can leave the name of the champagne on the neck - choose yourself. If you see some folds somewhere, then you can get rid of them with sandpaper.
To make the roses in the picture voluminous, decorate them with silver glitter or the same color as the flower. The upper part of the bottle, where the drawing ends, can be decorated with a beautiful ribbon of the desired shade or a piece of foil. You can place a flower or a bow in the center of the bottle. The gift is ready to use. It will look very elegant.
So, stage 1 - Clear the bottle from the labels and prime with acrylic paint.
Stage 2 - Prepare the drawing, apply it to the bottle and varnish with several layers.
Stage 3 - Decorate the bottle and tie the top of the bottle with a beautiful ribbon of the desired shade.
For your birthday, you can decoupage a bottle of wine. You can cut out a small congratulation, and next to glue a photo of the birthday person using a beautiful satin ribbon.
