Turkey is becoming more popular, appearing on restaurant menus, on store shelves, and on Instagram accounts of food bloggers. And for good reason: it is a versatile product that harmoniously combines dietary properties and an unusual taste at the junction of red and white meat. First, let's recall the beneficial qualities of turkey:

Firstly, turkey meat is hypoallergenic and therefore equally suitable for feeding children and adults.

  • Secondly, turkey meat contains many vitamins and minerals. For example, phosphorus (yes, fish has a competitor!), Calcium, potassium, selenium, iron and zinc, as well as a number of B vitamins, with a deficiency of which we become nervous and irritable, immunity decreases, the heart and muscles suffer, the condition of the skin, hair and nails deteriorates.
  • Third, turkey meat contains tryptophan, an amino acid that we get only from food. It is from tryptophan that the so-called "happiness hormone", serotonin, is synthesized in the body.
  • Fourth, turkey meat is an excellent source of protein, as it contains 20 g of protein but only 2 g of fat.

What factors should be considered when buying turkey meat? It should be a proven brand that uses modern technologies to preserve the properties of dietary meat and natural taste without preservatives. It is better to choose a full-cycle manufacturer; in such a production, product quality standards are usually set and a system for their compliance is established.

When the meat is selected, cook it according to your favorite recipe or use our Summer Top 5 Turkey Dishes.

Damate manufactures products under the Indilight brand at the largest turkey processing plant in Europe. The plant is equipped with the latest equipment and operates in accordance with modern packaging technologies and quality standards. Therefore, it is possible to preserve the freshness of the finished product for up to 14 days without preservatives.

Meat production does not begin with cutting, but with sowing grain fields for our own natural poultry feed. This is followed by a five month rearing period. The full production cycle allows you to control the quality at every stage and guarantees the safety of ready meals, even for young children.

During production, the turkey is cooled with air for 7-10 hours: no immersion in water, no hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid. Thanks to this, the meat has time to mature and reveal all its great taste.
