Quilling: Simple New Year Card

In quilling, the main thing is perseverance, attention and accuracy. It is very convenient to curl thin long strips of paper with small children's fingers, so you can gather your child's friends or girlfriends and have a great time. Quilling paper can be purchased at the hobby or hobby department store, but it is also possible to make your own by cutting double-sided colored paper into long thin strips. Let's show it on the example of a lamb, but you can make any postcard like that!

You need to prepare:

Colored cardboard (double-sided is possible);

Quilling paper in two colors (for example, sand and lilac);
The pencil is simple;
Scissors;
Ruler with circles (officer);
Wooden stick;
PVA glue.

Postcard execution:

Print on cardboard (draw with a felt-tip pen, paints) greeting words or text of your choice;

With a pencil, carefully draw the outlines of the head of a lamb with ears for the convenience of further work, mark the body of the animal;
Wrap paper on a wooden stick, insert the resulting spiral into a circle on a ruler and remove the pencil, the spiral will unwind and become perfectly round;
Glue the tip of the paper so that the spiral does not unwind by removing it from the ruler. Form a triangle with your hands, carefully glue the ear to the head. Perform the second ear in a similar way;

Smear the edge of a small piece of sand-colored paper and carefully glue it along the contour of the head;

Wind a small spiral and place it in a circle on a ruler with a smaller diameter. Glue and shape into a heart - the nose is ready, you can glue it;
Make two dense small spirals of lilac color - eyes - glue to the marked places;

The fur coat and hat are made of weakly twisted spirals of different sizes, carefully glued to the body and from above to the head;

For the legs, cut four sand-colored strips of arbitrary length, glue to the body;
The hooves will be four lilac tight spirals, which need to be triangular and glued.

Further decoration of the postcard is completely a figment of your imagination. Ribbons and unusual buttons, some moss or seashells will be used. Go for it!
