Early pregnancy signs

Determining pregnancy is not as difficult as it is difficult not to confuse its signs with the symptoms of some disease.
The first sign is a sharp decrease in basal temperature by one day in the second phase. This is the most accurate and unmistakable sign. Temperature fluctuations can be caused by two reasons. The first is the release of the hormone progesterone, which is responsible for lowering the temperature, decreases from the second half of the phase, and during pregnancy it resumes again, hence the temperature jump. The second reason is the release of the hormone estrogen. This hormone is responsible for lowering the temperature. Most often, the first two weeks of pregnancy are signaled by a basal temperature of 37 degrees.
The second of the earliest signs of pregnancy is also minor spotting. They can manifest themselves as mild bleeding or as small yellow droplets on underwear. Many women take them for menstruation, and this is already implantation bleeding. About six days after conception, the embryo takes root in the uterine reticulum. This process is accompanied by secretions, but this does not happen for everyone. They can also be pink or creamy. They can also be a consequence of cervical erosion. This defect occurs as a result of inflammation of the mucous membrane of the cervical canal. The appearance of such discharge after a delay may indicate the threat of termination of pregnancy. Be attentive!

The third and most common symptom is a mild feeling of discomfort. Many women think this is a sign of a cold or flu. Indeed, the temperature is elevated, a feeling of fatigue. Experts note cases that during this period women may feel bad due to weak immunity. Complaints of sore throat and runny nose are often recorded. If you are not sure if this is really a disease, then do not self-medicate. This can be great harm to the unborn baby.
Many women share their experience that in the early stages they had increased breast tenderness. This symptom appears within 1-2 weeks after conception. Some people do not notice this, because breast swelling can also occur before menstruation. Darkening of the skin around the nipples can also signal pregnancy.
One of the unpleasant symptoms of pregnancy is nausea, an aversion to certain odors, and increased salivation. The gag reflex is the body's defense against toxins and bad substances.
Early pregnancy may be indicated by mild pain in the lumbar region, which accompanies the expectant mother throughout the entire period.
Feeling of heaviness in the pelvic region. This can be caused by increased blood flow to the pelvic organs and an enlarged uterus. One of the most unpleasant signs is the appearance of hemorrhoids already in the first weeks of pregnancy, which is also caused by increased blood flow.
Most women in the first weeks of pregnancy feel a slight tingling sensation in the uterus.

Already in the second week of pregnancy, many women notice a slight distraction and a feeling of fatigue. Fatigue can be caused by increased production of the hormone progesterone, which suppresses the psyche. This may manifest as slight drowsiness and irritability. From the tenth week of pregnancy, drowsiness disappears, as the level of estrogens rises, and it is they who suppress drowsiness.
Pregnancy can also be indicated by a periodic change in the feeling of heat and cold. Either you cannot warm yourself well, or, on the contrary, a feeling of heat envelops you. Some women experience facial flushing. This can be associated with a drop in blood pressure and increased body temperature during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Restless sleep can also be a sign of pregnancy. Women who have no idea about their pregnancy observe that the state of sleep has become restless. Most often, they go to bed early and wake up early. It is also noted that the feeling of fatigue does not go away even after a full sleep.
Since the level of hormones in the blood rises during pregnancy, women often experience headaches and migraines. At the end of the first trimester, the pain subsides.
Minor symptoms of pregnancy include minor swelling of the hands, bowel upset, frequent urination, decreased blood pressure, increased appetite, increased vaginal discharge.
All of the above symptoms can indicate not only an interesting situation, but also some diseases. Do not diagnose yourself. Better to see a doctor and be sure. Good luck and good health.
