But not only for the colorful plumage and proud posture, the guinea fowl received such big names, but also for high-quality meat and healthy eggs.
Initially, guinea fowls were known on the African continent and Madagascar, from where they were brought to Europe and took root in our climatic conditions, breeding well in closed and even open enclosures.
Guinea fowl meat contains less fat and water than chicken meat, it is dark in color, and tastes closest to game, pheasants or partridges. Guinea fowl meat is one of the healthiest among poultry.
