One kilogram of apples requires two glasses of water and 1.2 kilograms of sugar. Apples are poured with hot syrup and infused in it for up to 6 hours (calorizer). They are brought to a boil again and left to infuse a second time for about 12 hours. Boiling is repeated 2-3 times, making the apple blanks transparent. Then they are dried (in a room, in an oven) and the surface is treated. More often they are simply sprinkled with sugar or powdered sugar.
This delicacy has excellent taste and pleasant aroma. Candied fruits are great for tea drinking, and can also act as a filling for baking, ice cream, jelly, or decorate various sweet dishes (for example, cottage cheese desserts).
