A quick and nutritious beef and broccoli stir fry served over cauliflower rice, perfect for midweek dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin)
- 1 large head of broccoli (or 2 if desired)
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cauliflower rice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce (or tamari/coconut aminos)
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Olive oil for cooking
- Toasted sesame seeds (optional, for serving)
- Lime (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Slice the beef thin against the grain.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger paste, and sesame oil to create a marinade for the beef.
- Let the beef marinate while chopping the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat a splash of oil in a large pan and sear the marinated beef for about 3 minutes.
- Remove the beef and add the broccoli with a splash of water, cover, and steam for 1 minute.
- Add the beef back into the pan along with any remaining marinade and stir for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In a separate pan, sauté the cauliflower rice in olive oil for 3-5 minutes until toasty.
- Serve the beef and broccoli over the cauliflower rice and enjoy!
Notes
For the perfect dish, slice beef thin, don’t overcook the broccoli, and taste before serving.
